Bluetooth networks feature a topology called PAN i.e. Personal Area Network. Bluetooth was designed to sustain wireless networking within short distances. Bluetooth is a specification for the use of low-power radio communications to wirelessly link phones and other devices within a range of short distance. It usually transmits signals up to 10 meters at a speed less than 1Mbps.
Bluetooth application in the handset can be activated via options present in the main menu of the phone. The menu exhibits the following options for Bluetooth activation:

Mobile phones with internet connection are in vogue. Majority of the costumers prefer having uninterrupted internet connectivity with them and hence a vast majority of the mobile phones are equipped with internet facility. Now-a-days mobile phones provide a good connectivity via GPRS and/or Wi-Fi features installed on the handset. This allows the users to access their email account, sent emails and browse the World Wide Web anytime, and from anywhere. However, the service provider should be capable of providing the internet setting to the user. In addition, the mobile phone can also be connected to the computer via USB data cords or Bluetooth. This requires appropriate software to be installed on the computer to synchronise the handset with the computer. Furthermore internet connectivity can be achieved through Bluetooth which enables multiple phones in a given network range to be connected to phone with the internet to use the facility.
