Bluetooth:-
Bluetooth is a wireless data transfer protocol. Though the range was initially limited to 10m, today it has been boosted to 100m thanks to developments in the technology. Bluetooth can be used for a variety of task such as: transfer of video, images or music; syncing a device with another; backing up important e-mails and contacts; using Bluetooth headphones and other wireless Bluetooth accessories (A2DP).
While using Bluetooth, some functions are common on all O2 phones, such as:
You should safeguard your phone from the many Bluetooth viruses that can infect it. To do this avoid sharing files with unknown devices, keep Bluetooth off when not required and hide your device if you need the Bluetooth on.
Internet:-
The internet can easily be accessed from your O2 phone through the many protocols available such as GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi and 3G. Of these Wi-Fi is the fastest, but requires you to be close to an access point, whereas all the others are completely mobile. 3G is a relatively new technology in India and even though it is available on your O2 phone, you might not be able to utilize it till it is active on your network. All you have to do to get on the internet is open your O2 phone’s web browser (PocketIE) and get started. You can also stream and download content with 3G but be careful with usage as service providers charge per KB for EDGE and GPRS and per MB for 3G.
