Bluetooth:
Sagem, launched in India under the brand name Bleu, does not have Bluetooth features in all its phones. Bluetooth is a wireless protocol that allows two systems to communicate with each other. You can transfer files, back-up your phonebook, use wireless headsets etc. with Bluetooth. Earlier the range of Bluetooth was only 10metres but now it is 100metres. In all Sagem phones with Bluetooth specifications, you’ll find the same standard controls such as:
You should also check whether your phone supports A2DP without which you will be unable to use Bluetooth headsets.
Internet:
Internet can be accessed from Sagem phones through either GPRS or EDGE (Enhanced GPRS) depending on the phone’s specifications. EDGE speeds are considerably higher than but not as good as Wi-Fi or 3G, neither of which are supported by Sagem phones. E-mail features are available on many phones and allow you to read your mails on the go. Instant messaging and chat are also available on some phones. At EDGE and GPRS speeds, opening larger websites can be a pain and it’s advisable to only open the smaller ones or websites that support mobile web browsers because otherwise you might have to wait for as long as 3-4 minutes before a page loads. The browser on Sagem phones is functional and average at best but if you only use it for short periods of time, its acceptable.
