How difficult it becomes for you, when you have to switch between two mobile phones, one for work and the other for private use. Well this might get a lot tiresome for people sometimes, especially those who are really very busy. Quite often you might forget to get one phone from your home and then you blame yourself the whole day.

Dual SIM card phones are getting popular day by day in India. These Mobile Phones with dual SIM card facility provide the user two different numbers on the same phone. Now some dual phones which support GSM and CDMA SIM cards are also available in the market. Thus giving the user a lot of options to choose between the mobile operators.

Dual SIM facility is provided by SAMSUNG, SPY, SPICE, HTC and other leading mobile companies too. Apart from these, many Chinese models too come with dual SIM facility. These models lure the customers with low prices. The Chinese models cost around Rs 5000.

For example a Nokia N95 Clone with Touch Screen will cost you just Rs. 5000 only if you buy it in the grey market in most cities of India. These Chinese duplicate handsets look exactly similar to the original handsets but definitely aren’t just not the original ones. Apart form this these Chinese handsets with Dual SIM cards facility also have super high bass speakers and many touch screen capabilities which aren’t in the original handsets.

But there is a glitch. Many of these Chinese phones have similar IMEI number. Now has lead to the DoT (Department of Telecommunication) to ban Chinese phones in India. Thus those who already use the cheap Chinese models have to be cautious as their phone might just be blocked soon.

But never the less, if you plan to buy a Dual SIM phone from a reputed firm then you need not worry. These phones from renowned firms will cost you around Rs. 8000. But having said this, they will be packed with multimedia features, so that cost is included in the pricing too.

So bottom line, if you lead  a busy life or find it cheaper to use one SIM for local and the other for STD or ISD calls then so for Dual SIM phones. One can say one thing about these dual SIM phones, they are here to stay.
