The LG Company launched the LG VU series in India in January 2008 and the CU920 is a model in the VU series. The LG CU920 is the successor of the LG CU915 and is a very smart phone with nice features.
The CU920 is a bar shaped phone with touch screen ability. The screen is big and the size is three inches. The CU920 specifications are that it is 4.25 inches tall, 2.16 inches wide and 0.51 inches in diameter. The phone weighs 94gms i.e. 3.16 ounces. The phone is light compared to the I phone and Samsung touch screen models. The CU920 sports a TFT color touch screen with 262144 colors and the resolution of the screen is 240 x 400 pixels. The CU920 features a GSM Quad-band phone (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) UMTS dual-band American 3G (850/1900 MHz) with 3G connectivity.
The CU920 has been mounted with a 2.0 megapixel camera with autofocus and night mode which makes the phone to capture images even in the dark. The camera lacks a flash. There is a QVGA (320×240) video recorder also. The CU920 has a music player that plays files of MP3, AAC and WMA format. The phone has an inbuilt memory of 120 MB and can be further extended as it has a micro SD memory card slot. The battery in the CU920 is the same that powers the CU915 i.e. the LI-Ion 1000mAh standard battery with 250 hrs of standby and 3 hrs of talk time. The battery is efficient and gets charged up very fast. It is equipped with v1.2 Bluetooth and internet with full HTML browser and it also has USB connection. The data speed is GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA 1.8 Mbit/s/HSDPA 3.6 Mbit/s which is very fast. The CU920 has a special feature of AT&T TV which enables you to view live TV or stored programs on the phone.
The CU920 is all loaded with great features and softwares and the latest technologies and if it suits your budget the LG CU920 is a good option.
