Mobile Video

Mobile video is something that everyone uses, whether it is football videos, dance or other entertainment videos, or video recordings made during events or celebrations. Mobile video has come a long way, from the ability to just record seconds of video, now short movie directors extensively use high end mobile phones as cheaper and more convenient alternatives to handycams. Quality too has seen a tremendous increase from pixellated and blurry videos to 5.0 megapixel videos that can be viewed even on large TVs.

The major development has been in the mobiles themselves. Today, most handsets not only support video recording itself, but also have flash, built-in video editing software, and many other valuable features. Storage capacity has also increased to the point where recording or storing a video of an hour in length is possible. The video players on mobiles are also much more sophisticated with more advanced controls such as scene select and the like. PC connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allow sharing and transfer of video from and to computers and other mobile users or for upload on to the internet. Video streaming is also becoming popular among mobile users who enjoy watching live news, matches, TV shows or connecting to sites like YouTube. There are also many video converters available to allow you to view any video from your computer on the mobile phone or vice versa.

Just like wallpapers and themes, you can download videos for your mobile from the internet free of charge from many websites. Mobile videos are available in many formats such as .3gp, .mpg etc. and you should check which ones your phone supports before downloading and should use a converter if necessary. If you have a particular interest in recording videos, then you should buy a mobile with at least a 2-3 megapixel camera and as much storage as possible.
