Announced in July, 2006 the Motorola MOTOKRZR K1 works on 2G Network on GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. It is a very sleek flip phone and has got a stunning style and body. MOTOKRZR K1 has specifications of103 x 42 x 16 mm, when in the closed position. When opened, it is very long and thin. Thus the user is in a comfortable position to talk or make the call. MOTOKRZR K1 weights just 102 grams.

Motorola MOTOKRZR K1 display is TFT, 256 colors. The screen has a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. Motorola MOTOKRZR K1 screen dimensions are 1.9 inches, 30 x 37 mm. The Second external CSTN, 256K colors display (96 x 80 pixels). The body is made of a reflective glass coated surface. Thus, giving it a sophisticated look.

Motorola MOTOKRZR K1 has integrated camera of 2 MP, 1600 x 1200 pixels with 8x digital zoom and built in photo editor. But it does not have a flash. The video recording facility is CIF resolution and at max a 25 minute clip can be recorded with it at a stretch. Thus good quality videos can be recorded with it compared to other phones.

Motorola MOTOKRZR K1 applications include a MP3 player that supports formats like MP3, AAC and AAC+. Now the songs can be heard using head phones or wireless Bluetooth. It comes with a loud speaker facility too. MOTOKRZR K1 has limited internal memory of 20 MB but having said that it can be expanded up to 2 GB using Micro SD memory card. MOTOKRZR K1 can store up to 1000 phone book entries with up to 20 fields in each entry.

MOTOKRZR K1 features include a GPRS with 32-48 kbps speed. It also has EDGE facility. KRZR K1 has browser is WAP 2.0/xHTML. The Bluetooth is v1.2 with A2DP. KRZR K1 has MMS, Email and Instant Messaging facility. Thus it has all the high end features and in true senses a multi media phone.

MOTOKRZR K1 has a standard battery, Li-Ion 700 mAh (BC50). This battery is sufficient enough to keep the phone running for 300 hours along with a talk time of 6 hours.

In conclusion one can easily say that like other MOTOROLA mobile phones MOTOKRZR K1 has striking features and is remarkable in functionality with great entertainment facilities. MOTOKRZR K1 price is just Rs. 8000. Thus justifying every penny that it costs you.
