MOTOROLA has always catered to the demands of style hungry people by launching clamshell phones. One such example is the Motorola Razr V3. Razr V3 works on 2G on GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Now since it works on Quad band therefore it is globally active.

Motorola Razr V3 specifications are 98 x 53 x 13.9 mm, 65 cc. Well, after seeing the specifications, all we can say is Razr V3 is very very slim. In fact when flip is opened while making a call, it gets transformed into an ultra sleek phone. Now having said so much about the sleekness, it still gives a good grip on the palm. Motorola Razr V3 weighs just 95 grams.

Motorola Razr V3 comes with a primary display of TFT type with 256K colors. Razr V3 has a screen resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. The secondary display is CSTN having a resolution of 96 x 80 pixels with 4096 colors. The external display shows the time, battery life, signal strength, and caller ID. The case is beautiful anodized aluminum. All this in particular a colorful external display gives the Razr V3 a strikingly sexy look.

Motorola Razr V3 has internal memory of 5.5 MB. There is no external card slot for memory expansion. Now this is a disadvantage. Razr V3 can store up to 1000 phone book entries. Also it can store previous 10 missed, dialed as well as received calls each.

Motorola Razr V3 features include GPRS with 32-48 kbps speed. It has Bluetooth v1.2. Also it comes with a mini USB, with whose help Razr V3 can be connected to the computer. Razr V3 camera has VGA camera with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Razr V3 has applications that enable to run video clips but the camera does not support video recordings.

Motorola Razr V3 applications include SMS, MMS, EMS, Email and Instant Messaging facilities. Apart from this one can access the internet using the WAP 2.0/xHTML. Razr V3 has games like Skipping Stones, Golf, Billiards and of course other games can be downloaded. Razr V3 is comes in silver and black colors. Although black is a special edition only.

Motorola Razr V3 has a Standard, Li-Ion 680 mAh (BA700). This enough to keep the phone running for 280 hours on Stand-By mode and gives 7 hours of Talk Time. This is great considering the fact that it has two displays.

Priced at Rs.7000, Motorola Razr V3 is definitely worth the money. The only problem is that since its production is discontinued, it won’t be available in MOTOROLA gallery unlike other MOTOROLA mobile phones. But if you are lucky enough, you can get it in other mobile selling shops.
