Motorola RIZR Z3 belongs to new range of slider phones that are developed by Motorola. It was announced in 2006, July. The Motorola RIZR Z3 works on quad band technology using 2G network on GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Motorola RIZR Z3 specifications are 106 x 46 x 16 mm. These dimensions glorify the fact that Motorola RIZR Z3 is a sleek phone.

The Motorola RIZR Z3 comes with a TFT display of 256Kcolors 176 x 220 pixels, 1.9 inches, 30 x 37 mm. This means that the screen size quite small for a slider phone. But inside the slider we have the cool Blue backlighting on the keypad, which is a trade mark of Motorola. With an internal memory of 16MB, the Motorola RIZR Z3 memory can be expanded up to 2 GB using a Micro SD memory card.

As far as Motorola RIZR Z3 mobile phone connectivity is concerned, it has a GPRS speed of 32-64 kbps. It has Bluetooth, v2.0 with A2DP. It has a USB cable connection, V 1.1. Motorola RIZR Z3 camera is of 2 MP, 1600×1200 pixels with LED flash facility for dark environmental conditions.

RIZR applications multiple messaging capabilities like SMS, enhanced messaging, MMS, Email and Instant messaging. The internet can be explored using WAP 2.0/xHTML browser. The Motorola is loaded with a music player that supports a variety of music formats including MP3, AAC and AAC+. And to make optimum utilization of these features, there is the flight mode feature. Thus allowing the user to have full access to their music whilst on a flight.

Motorola RIZR Z3 mobile phone is powered by Standard battery, Li-Ion 720 mAh (BC50) battery. This gives it a stand by time of 350 hours and a talk time of 6 hours and 40 minutes.

Also Motorola RIZR Z3 is extremely nice to touch with metal and rubber all around and thus leaving a good impression. It comes in three shades namely Blue, Black and Red. All these give it a sophisticated and classy look.

Priced at Rs. 7000, Motorola RIZR Z3 mobile phone in India is a good buy. But many people have had problems with the phone breaking or freezing. But having said that, these problems can be sorted out at the Motorola Service centers. So buy this phone from a shop that gives a 12 month warranty.
