The Nokia 3120 is a mid ranged, multitasking phone which was launched in the April of the year 2008 for the mere price of Rs. 3,500 in the Indian markets. The 111 x 45 x 13 mm dimensioned Nokia 3120 weighs an 85g. The Nokia 3120 is available in a variety of color options such as graphite, powder white, deep red and chestnut brown. The Nokia 3120 comes in the most modest packaging ever; a DC charger and hands free are the only accessories that come with the phone along with a few leaflets and a manual.
The sleek outer body of the Nokia 3120 classic is made up of plastic and is light weighted. The keys are placed well making the phone very comfortable to use and also user friendly. The Nokia 3120 classic has a 2 inch QVGA screen which displays up to 16M colors, the colors do get some what washed out in the sun but the display does remains readable. A Standard battery, Li-Ion 1000 mAh (BL-4U) powers the Nokia 3120 which offers stand by up to 290 hours and talk time up to 3 hours and 30 minutes.
The music player on the Nokia 3120 is worth praise, the player has very good looks and functionality. The player is compatible with various formats such as MP3, MIDI, AAC, AAC+ and WMA. An FM radio is also present on the Nokia 3120. The Nokia 3120 also has a 2 mega pixel camera on board with image resolution up to 1600 x 1200 pixels. The image quality is average while the speed of the camera rather slow.
The Nokia 3120 has an internal memory of 24 MB which can store 2000 entries in the phone book while 20 dialed, missed and received calls; there are card slots for microSD (Trans Flash), memory card up to 8GB and hot swap. The Nokia 3120 classic is one of the best phones available in its price range, and unlikely to let you down.
