The Nokia 3220 is a series 40 phone which has stylish light effects and is very much similar to the Nokia 3200. The phone though has its original style and adaptations. The Nokia 3220 was launched in the year 2004 and is still available for the price of Rs. 4,000 all over the Indian markets. The Nokia 3220 has dimensions of 104.5 x 44.2 x 18.7 mm and weight of only 86 grams. The phone comes in five different color option, two of them have a white case, other two have a black and one has a red color case, all these models differ from each other on basis of the color of the decorative border and design at the back of the phone, thus offering a variety to the customers to choose from.
The key pad is well placed but pretty shaky since it’s made out of rubber; once the key is clicked it makes a loud sound which can be disturbing al times. The Nokia 3220 has a VGA camera onboard which takes pictures of an average quality, four modes namely the standard photo, portrait, night mode and video are available on the phone. The Nokia 3220 runs on a Standard, Li-Ion 760 mAh (BL-5B) battery, which offers 280 hours of stand by and talk time up to 3 hours. The Nokia 3220 has an internal memory of just 3MB with no card slots available, the phone book has the capacity of storing 2000 entries while 20 dialed, received and missed calls are recorded on the phone.
There are various entertaining games on the Nokia 3220 which include 3 – Club Pinball, Dance Delight and Phantom Spider which are sure to keep you occupied.
The negative points of the Nokia 3220 include the excluded Bluetooth and infra red connections making the USB cable the only option for transferring data and the key pad which not very comfortable to type on. The Nokia 3220 is not really a business class phone but the teenagers are sure to get attracted to it.
