The Nokia 5610 was launched in the august of 2007 in the market for the price of Rs. 15,400. The main USP of the Nokia 5610 is its music features, Nokia has launched two music phones which are Nokia 5200 and Nokia 5300 prior to the Nokia 5610 which had the similar music features and has turned out to be a hit amongst the people who prefer their music on their cell phone rather than caring an additional device. The Nokia 5610 with dimensions 98.5 x 48.5 x 17 mm, weighs a moderate 111 g along with the battery. The Nokia 5620 is available in black with blue or red trimmings.
The main features of the 5610 include a user-friendly key pad, advanced radio functions which include a radio, a 3 mega pixel camera, Stereo Bluetooth and a 2.2″ TFT QVGA display. The Nokia 5610 has room for 2000 entries in the phone book and internal memory up to 20 MB. The Nokia 5610 has card slots for hot swap, microSD and an 8 GB memory card. The Nokia 5610 uses a standard battery, Li-Ion 900 mAh, and has a stand by up to 320 hours and talk time up to 6 hours.
The main disadvantages of the Nokia 5610 are that the Camera LED can not be used as a flash light, the lens glass protestor is easy to get scratched, charging of the battery through the USB port is not possible and the front panel catches finger prints. The Nokia 5610 is a slider phone, the back of the phone is somewhat dimpled which enables a better grip over the phone, The Nokia 5610 also has a metallic tinge to it and is a rather solid phone. The Nokia 5610 has four java enabled games and more games and themes are downloadable.
On the whole apart from being a very good looking the phone the Nokia 5610 has various features and is available at a reasonable price, and sure to attract the youngsters.
