The Nokia 6120 was launched in the April of the year 2007 and is available in the price range of Rs. 11,000 – 14,000 in the Indian market. The features of the Nokia 6120 include a Conservative design, 2-megapixel camera, Voice recorder with 60-minute limit, 35 MB of internal memory, Bluetooth with A2DP support and a very good key pad. The Nokia 6120 has dimensions 105 x 46 x 15 mm and weight 89 g which is remarkable for a smart phone. The construction of the phone is flawless while the body is robust. The Nokia 6120 is available in two color options of pearl white and black.
The Nokia 6120 runs on a Standard battery, Li-Ion 890 mAh (BL-5B) with stand by up to 250 hours and talk time up to 3 hours. The 2 mega pixel camera on the Nokia 6120 is not up to the mark, lens cover and auto focus is missing, even the picture quality does not live up to the expectations. The Nokia 6120 has internal memory of 32 MB and can save practically unlimited number of entries in the phone book and can keep detailed records of the dialed, received and missed calls of 30 days. The Nokia 6120 has card slots for microSD and a memory card up to 8 GB.
The Nokia 6120 can send SMS, MMS, Emails and Instant Messages. The additional features of the Nokia 6120 include Push to talk feature which enables the user a one key access of receiving calls, Voice memo, Organizer and MP3/AAC/MPEG4 player. Stereo FM radio and speaker phones are also available on the phone. In spite of being a reasonably good phone the Nokia 6120 has certain draw backs such as absence of Wi-Fi, “pencil” key, auto focus and lens cover, there is also no indication of missed events after certain period of time and the phone tends to catch finger prints which require regular wiping.
On the whole the Nokia 6120 mobile phone in India is a must buy for the business class people who might not exactly be looking for the quality of the camera and the phone is also available at a very reasonable price.
