The Nokia E71 was launched in the Indian markets in the July of the year 2008, and is available for the price of Rs. 20,000. The main features of the Nokia E71 includes a Quad-band GSM support, Built-in GPS receiver, 3.15 megapixel auto focus camera, Stainless steel casing, Bluetooth, FM radio, great battery life, infrared port and various Convenient business-minded shortcut keys.

The camera present on the E71 does not live up to the expectations, a cover to protect the lens is absent which may cause a scratch to the lens when the protective casing is missing. The picture quality of the pictures taken by the Nokia E71 is below average the noise levels are high while the pictures lack detail. The main disadvantages of the Nokia E71 include no lens protection, no dedicated camera key, cheap-looking power key and no RDS for the FM radio.

The Nokia E71 has dimensions 114 x 57 x 10 mm and weight 128 grams. The Nokia E71 phone is available in two color options of steel and black. The Nokia E71 runs on a Standard battery, Li-Po 1500 mAh (BP-4L) which offers stand by up to 410 hours and talk time up to 10 hours and 30 minutes.

The Nokia E71 has an internal memory up to 110 MB, which can store practically unlimited number of entries in the phone book and detailed call records up to a maximum of 30 days, there are also card slots for microSD (Trans Flash), a memory card up to 8GB and hot swap present on the phone.

The additional features of the Nokia E71 include an MP3 player,
Document editor (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF), Push to talk function, Voice command, voice dial, Organizer and Printing. The main USP of the Nokia E71 is its business like attractive looks, convenient lay out and great battery life and since the mobile phone is targeted at the business class people, it is sure to be a hit.
