Nokia N72 was launched in April 2006 .It is one of the high-end phones launched by Nokia. Nokia N72 belongs to the N series of Nokia phones and is a remake of N70 with slightly less features as compared to N70 to reduce the cost. The black bar at the sides with embedded silver linings shines is there to enhance the glamour of the phone.

Nokia N72 supports GSM frequency of range 900, 1800 and 1900.It is slightly heavy in size weighing 124grams and is also bulky with dimension of 109 x 53x 21.8mm.The display offered is sleek with screen resolution of 176×208 pixels and 256K colors. It is available in two basic colors pearl pink and gloss black. The keypad available with the phone is considered very user friendly.

Nokia N72 is a rich phone with a camera of 2 mega pixels and zoom of up to 8X.It also has the facility of video recording. For music lovers Nokia N72 offers a built in Mp3 player as well as FM radio. It can offer you upto 10hours of non stop music in offline mode. On purchase Nokia N72 comes with a memory of 20 MB which can be extended up to 2GB with the help of SD card. It can be connected to other devices using Bluetooth and USB for high speed data transfer. The operating system used in the phone is Symbian S60 which is 8.1 version of Symbian series. The battery used is Li-Ion BL-5C 3.7V, 1020mAh which provides user with a standby time of 260 hours and talk time of 215mins.It offers you facilities of triband as well as push to talk.

Nokia N72 is offered in Indian markets at a reasonable rate of rupees 7500 and hence the phone is preferred because of its cheap cost and high end services. Some of the problems faced by this phone are poor display, big size, no 3g support and poor lens cover. Inspite of such issues Nokia N72 has created its mark in the markets because of the high end functionality offered at a very reasonable price tag.
