To start with the basics the N95 is a 3 GB smart phone. It is built on the series 60 Symbian interface (3.1 versions) and was launched in the April of 2007 in the Indian market. The Nokia 95 boasts of features like a built in GPS navigation, a 5 megapixel camera, Wi- Fi wireless internet connection and a 2.6 inch display with 16 million colors. The N95 also has an ultra fast HSDPA data transfer. It has dimensions 99 x 53 x 21 mm and weighs a 128gms including the battery, it is available in Silver, Plum, Black, Pink and Red.
The N95 sports a great memory meter which includes practically unlimited entries in the phone book and detailed call records of 30 days. It has an internal storage of 160 MB, and also card slots for hot swap, micro SD (Trans Flash), up to 8GB. The phone includes a 129 MB memory card. Also at 128 Gms the N95 is pretty bulky; there are various media keys which can be used at short cuts but the keys are too small and uncomfortable.
The Nokia N95 mobile phone has a 5 Mega Pixel camera with 2592 x 1944 pixels; the phone uses the Carl Zeiss & Tessar optics, and also has an autofocus. The N95 does miss the optical zoom present in the Nokia N93, but still has more practical purposes. The video camera present in the phone is also user friendly with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, at up to 30 frames per second. The front facing camera on the phone is for the purpose of making video calls. The phone facilitates sms, mms, email and instant messaging services. The N95 has other features such as a music player, talking ringtones and a stereo FM radio. The 2.0 Bluetooth, 2.0 USB, infrared and a 3.5mm headphone jack makes it one of the best connective phones.
