Acclaimed by many as the best camera phone that Sony Ericsson has to offer in the Cyber-shot family to date, Sony Ericsson C902 was announced in 2008, February. C902 works on 2G network on GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Sony Ericsson C902 specifications are 108 x 49 x 10.5 mm. C902 weighs 107 grams. So a bit heavier than other cyber shot cells but never the less, a few extra grams doesn’t really matter much.

Sony Ericsson C902 display is TFT, 256K colors. The display resolution is 240 x 320 pixels. C902 screen is 2 inches along the diagonal length. Sony is known for experimenting in design but C902 is an exception. It’s a straightforward and simple and that’s a major plus point. Everything is placed where it is supposed to be conventionally. All the keys are well spaced and that’s what makes the phone user friendly.

Sony Ericsson C902 has an internal memory of 160 MB, huge isn’t it? But of that is not enough then it can be extended up to 8 GB using a Memory Stick Micro (M2). Thus one can store loads of music and snap shorts and share with friends. Memory is one key aspect that is quite important in deciding the phone and C902 does not let you down.

Sony Ericsson C902 features include SMS, EMS, MMS, Email and Instant Messaging. Apart from this one can browse the net using WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML (NetFront). As mentioned earlier a SONY ERICSSON mobile phone cannot go without songs. So a MP3/AAC/MPEG4 player comes by default. The TrackID™ feature is also included in the phone. This allows the user to record a few seconds of a song & the name of the song, the artist & the album will be provided by TrackID™ within seconds.

Sony Ericsson C902 applications include GPRS of class 10 that gives a standard speed of 32-48 kbps. It also has EDGE with a speed of 236.8 kbps. Connectivity wise too Sony Ericsson C902 is not far behind. It is loaded with Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP. It also comes with a mini USB, v2.0 for PC syncing for contacts for transferring snaps and music files.

Now, the main feature, camera. Sony Ericsson C902 has a 5 MP camera of 2592?1944 pixels with autofocus and LED flash. Apart from this, it has Geo-tagging (cell-ID), image stabilization and 8 illuminated camera touch keys. Thus as every one says, C902 is the best cyber shot phone around.

Sony Ericsson C902 comes in Swift Black, Luscious Red, Titanium Silver and Cinnamon Bronze colors. C902 has a Standard battery, Li-Po 930 mAh (BST-39). This gives it a stand by time up to 400 hours. The talk time is up to 9 hours. Thus the battery life is great and sufficient for a frequent traveler.

Sony Ericsson C902 is priced at Rs. 18000. C902 is basically a phone for music lovers and those who love to capture each and every moment of life. With ease and comfort by which one can control the music as well as the camera. The price is a bit too high, but at the same time you are getting excellent features.
