Sony Ericsson K800i Price-Sony Ericsson K800i Review

One of the first mobile phones developed by Sony which were made part of the Sony Cyber-Shot Family, Sony Ericsson K800i was launched in the Indian Market in June of 2006. K800i works on both 2G as well as 3G Network on bands GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 and UMTS 2100.

Ericsson K800i is larger in size as compared to most other phone available in the market currently. It has dimensions of 105 x 47 x 22 mm and weighs around 115 g. One can make use of any Polyphonic or MP3 tones and set them as your ringtones. It also provides a composer software through which an individual can create his/her own custom ringtone.  Sony Ericsson K800i shows the list of last 30 dialed numbers, received calls and missed calls. It has an internal memory of 64 MB and if that is not enough it also provides an additional Memory Stick Micro (M2) Card Slot which can be expanded up to a maximum of 2GB.

The most impressive feature present in K800i is 3G technology. Unlike some phones in the same range K800i does provide 3G technology and also support GPRS and HSCSD Technology. Sony Ericsson K800i just falls short when it comes to connectivity with other phones. Although it has the presence of Bluetooth as well as Infrared Port, the Blue Tooth technology provided works properly in a very short range which might get a bit irritating at times when you are trying to transfer your favorite music or photo from one mobile device to another. It also has a version 2.0 USB Port for connecting to various Computer Devices.

K800i has a brilliant camera better than most mobile phone posses. It has a 3.15 MP, 2048×1536 pixels camera with autofocus and xenon flash. To ensure there is no blurry effect it also has image stabilization and support video recording as well as video calling.

K800i uses a Li-Po 900 mAh (BST-33) Standard Battery which has a stand by time of around 350 hours and a maximum talk time of around 7 hours.

K800i is a very powerful phone with good features and an even better camera. It also has 3G Technology, even though it was launched a couple of years back it still a remains one of the best phones belonging to Sony Ericsson’s Cyber-Shot Family.
