Sony Ericsson P9100i Price-Sony Ericsson P9100i Review

The Sony Ericsson P910i is the latest in Sony Ericsson’s P-series of handsets that combine PDA-style functionality with higher mobile phone technology.

The front keypad can be opened to reveal the huge internal display, offering a touch screen ability and handwriting recognition using a particularly designed pen, as well as a full QWERTY keyboard. The P910i doesn’t just look like a PDA; it has a lot of PDA-style functions. For instance, its email manager can be coordinated with Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes, and can handle attachments including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. It also includes an included video camera, MP3 player and downloadable Java applications. With a range of connectivity options counting Bluetooth, the P910i provides an outstanding platform for working and playing on the move. A tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz communicator with support for HSCSD and GPRS Class 10 is available in the handset. The P910i fares fairly well with regard to WAN connectivity. PAN is another matter, however, as in spite of good infrared and Bluetooth support, the P910i does not hold Wi-Fi neither included nor through any means of extension.

On flipping downward the keypad, the full sized LCD screen becomes evident. The screen has been upgraded from 65,000 colors on the P900 to 262,000 colors. When you consider the massive resolution of this screen (208 x 320 pixels), you have practically the best display on any mobile at this time available. Only the Sharp GX30 can counterpart this screen. Another new feature of the Sony ericsson p910i is push email. Emails get sent automatically to your handset – there’s no requirement to download from a mail server. You can coordinate email with your PC via the Bluetooth connection. The specifications of the Sony ericsson p910i are 115 x 57 x 24 mm in size and 155 grams in weight. The battery life of the phone is good enough.  Sony Ericsson claims 13 hours of talk time and up to 400 hours of standby time for the device.

To conclude the Sony ericsson p910i is a great phone and is really popular among the people in India.
