Sony Ericsson W350i which belongs to walkman series of Sony Ericssons phones was recently launched in January 2008. The new Sony Ericsson W350i is a slim ultra-lightweight Walkman phone. The phone is considered strong in some areas and weak in others.

Sony Ericssons W350i support 2G network with  GSM frequency  range of 900,1800 and 1900.It is a very light weight phone weighing around 80 grams and dimensions of 104 x 43 x 10.5 mm. It comes with a TFT display of 256K colors with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels and size of 1.9 inches. Sony Ericsson W350i is a flip design phone and the flip is not the conventional one as it covers only the keypad part enhancing the beauty of the phone. It is available in three colors: - Electric Black which is a combination of Orange & Black, Hypnotic Black has Purple and Black, Ice Blue and Graphite White which is a pictured style. It consists of conventional keypad with nicely sized and placed keys.

The main aim with which Sony Ericssons W350i was designed apart from making calls and messages was music and it serves the purpose really well. It is considered as a replacement of ipod nano as it is ultra-compact and very light weighted and comes along with Sony’s renowned walkman player and also FM radio. Sony Ericssons W350i also comes with stereo headphones just enhancing the music experience. It comes with a decent 1.3megapixel of camera support with video recording as an option included. When you purchase Sony Ericssons W350i in India it comes with a limited 14MB of internal memory and memory card of 512 MB which can be further extended to around 4GB. For high speed data transfer Bluetooth and USB port support is provided. Sony Ericssons W350i applications include GPRS, EDGE and HSCSD for internet support. W350i comes with Standard Li-Po 780 mAh battery which provides 300 hours of standby time and upto 7 hours of talktime with uninterrupted music play of upto 15hours.

If you want to buy Sony Ericsson W3500i in India it is available at Rupees 6000 only. According to critics this phone has one of the worst cameras available in market. But apart from that you’ll find the Sony Ericsson W350i to be very classy in its function as it is compact, lightweight and also a gem of a music phone.
