This Walkman phone has the whole lot you need from a music player phone: a Walkman music player, a built-in FM radio, and a 2 megapixel camera. It also has the advantage of 3G video calling and comes in a classic slim line design with an ergonomic keypad and navigation key.
The W660i has a great look. It has a classic design, with beautiful curves, and is available in two unique color schemes: black and rose red. The Sony ericsson w660i is slim and is a good size and weight to hold the specifications are Size: 102 x 46 x 14.5 mm and weight 93 grams. The W660i has a superior quality 2 megapixel camera and a video recording selection. It does not have autofocus and a camera light which is a drawback. And being a 3G, it also supports video calling which is an advantage.
Obviously the W660i is equipped with the latest Walkman® player 2.0 and is an outstanding music phone. Audio quality is outstanding; you can simply operate the music player, creating your own playlists on the go. Interfacing with a PC is very basic: using the USB mass storage interface you can just drag and drop music (and other media) from the PC to the handset. The memory capacity of the phone is not as great as we’d like – in build memory is 16 Mbytes, which is enough for a few MP3 tracks, so you’ll certainly need a memory card to make full use of the handset. Memory cards of up to 1 Gybte are supported (2 Gbytes using an individual adapter).
Connectivity by means of USB and wireless Bluetooth is supported, counting support for a stereo Bluetooth headset, but there’s no support for infrared though. With 3G the phone is always connected to the internet, and the Sony ericsson w660i can handle web browsing, RSS feeds and picture blogging as well. Push email is supported as well.
In India the Sony ericsson w660i is available at Rs.9,500. In conclusion, the W660i is a good phone with great features.
