Benq-Siemens was formerly known as Siemens, and though not specifically known for its business oriented phones, there are models that fit the bill if you don’t need something totally business-centric. The top Siemens business phones available in India are:
Benq-Siemens SF71:-
A compact clamshell design, two crisp displays, well placed keys are all parts of the good design of this mobile phone. On the functions side you have 3G, expandable memory, mp3 ringtones, two cameras (one for video calls and the other for photographs and video), e-mail, Bluetooth with A2DP support so you can use your headsets, full HTML browser, photo editor, mp3 player and the usual organizer and memo. The battery life is also good and it will last you for 4 and a half hours wile talking and 5 days on standby.
Benq-Siemens CL71:-
This is a sliding mobile phone and it is lightweight at just 115grams and is also sleek in design. The screen is a 256K colour screen with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels and it is crisp and vibrant. In connectivity, there’s no EDGE or 3G, but there is the standard GPRS, Bluetooth and USB support. The Benq-Siemens CL71 also features a 1.3MP camera with video recording support and FM radio. You can send SMS, EMS and MMS, but there’s no e-mail. The good thing is the voice clarity which is perfect. There’s also a music player, expandable memory, an organizer and a full HTML browser.
Benq-Siemens EF71:-
It is also of clamshell design and features a lightweight and stylish design. As for specifications, there is Bluetooth, MMS support, a full HTML browser, expandable memory, photo editor, a 2MP camera and organizer. The battery life is poor though with only 3hrs talk-time but surprisingly it has a mammoth 10 days on standby.
